Meth dealer gets 3½ years in prison
Nicholas Reginald Morehouse, 32, of Fredericton, busted for drug possession for purpose of trafficking after police officer spots stolen vehicle parked outside of residence last fall
A judge sentenced a Fredericton man to prison time last week, noting that while he suffered from drug addiction, he contributed to the damage to society by peddling in meth.
Nicholas Reginald Morehouse, 32, of Albert Street, appeared in Fredericton provincial court in person and in custody Thursday for a sentencing hearing.
He’d previously pleaded guilty to possessing a stolen 2012 Dodge Journey belonging to Marcus Gray and breaching his probation, and after he was found guilty after trial of possessing methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.
The stolen-property and drug crimes occurred Nov. 25.
