‘I’m cooked’ - Man wanted by RCMP
Connor Riley MacIntosh, 20, of McAdam - whom Mounties say is being sought in connection with ongoing investigation - posted on social media Tuesday he’s “on da run”
A McAdam man about whom the RCMP issued a wanted alert Tuesday appeared to be actively posting on social media about the situation, stating it’s “always fun on da run.”
The McAdam detachment of the RCMP issued a news release Tuesday seeking tips on the whereabouts of Connor Riley MacIntosh, 20, of McAdam, noting he “is currently wanted by police in connection with an ongoing investigation.”
MacIntosh is described as being about 5’11” (180 centimetres) tall, weighing about 194 pounds (88 kilograms), with green eyes and brown hair.
“He was seen in the Fredericton area on Jan. 12, 2025,” the release said.
“Connor Riley MacIntosh should not be approached by members of the public. If you see him, call your local police force immediately. At this time, police do not believe there is a risk to the general public.”
A few hours before that alert, a Facebook profile seemingly belonging to MacIntosh posted comments, photos and videos about being wanted by police.
In a post, the profile stated, “Always fun on da run,” with videos from inside a motel room, with a stack of cash, appearing to be several thousands of dollars.
He also posted a photo of a view of a road from somewhere in the capital region, as a road sign visible in the picture referred “Fredericton Centre” and Hanwell Road.
Furthermore, in response to a Facebook post linking to the Fredericton Independent’s initial article on the wanted alert, the same profile posted a comment that said “I’m cooked,” followed by a skull emoji.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call the McAdam RCMP at 506-784-1204.
