Maugerville man accused of ukulele attack
Crown objects to release of Stephen Murphy-Flarow, 37, who then threatens to kill himself
A Maugerville man awaiting trial on allegations he pointed a shotgun at another man in the spring is now accused of attacking someone else with a decidedly different kind of weapon - a ukulele.
Stephen Reginald Murphy-Flarow, 37, of Copperhead Lane, appeared in Fredericton provincial court Monday by telephone from the Fredericton police station to face newly laid charges.

He’s accused of assaulting Amber Davis with a weapon (a ukulele), assaulting her and causing her bodily harm, and breaching a judicial release order barring him from having contact with Davis, Michael Doucette and Kimberly Kenzie, all on Friday in Fredericton.
