Man denies sexually abusing younger sister
Robert Philip Warrington, 28, accused of sexual assault, sexual touching, incest in 2013-16
A Nova Scotia man accused of sexually abusing his younger sibling several years ago when they were growing up in Harvey is headed to trial after denying the allegations Friday.
Robert Philip Warrington, 28, formerly of New Maryland and Harvey, wasn’t present in Fredericton provincial court when his case was called Friday, but defence lawyer Spencer MacInnis appeared on her behalf and filed a designation of counsel allowing her to make representations in the case without him being present.
Warrington is charged with counts of incest, sexual assault, sexual touching, invitation to sexual touching, voyeurism and provision of sexually explicit material to a minor, all alleging offences against his younger sister, Jasmine Warrington, in Harvey between Sept. 7, 2013, and Dec. 31, 2016.
