Man admits to parking-lot assault
Cruiz Avery Webb, 30, of no fixed address, will remain in custody until sentencing this fall
A Fredericton man admitted Wednesday to accosting a stranger in an uptown parking lot, as well as other crimes.
Cruiz Avery Webb, 30, of no fixed address, was arrested June 26 after an incident in the parking lot of the southside Canadian Tire in Fredericton.
He was charged with robbing Sandra Nason, assaulting her and assaulting her with a weapon.
The incident sparked outrage online after Nason’s son posted about his mother’s harrowing incident and the fear it instilled in her.
