Maine man sprung on conditions again
Stephane Remy Robichaud, 51, didn’t appear in court as required last month, but Crown prosecutor consented to his release ahead of scheduled bail hearing earlier this week
A Maine man arrested last month after he was a no-show in Fredericton court on three-year-old criminal charges has been released on conditions again.
Stephane Remy Robichaud, 51, formerly of Caribou, Maine, was scheduled to appear in Fredericton provincial court Aug. 15 for election of mode of trial and pleas on charges dating back to 2021, but a judge issued an arrest warrant in his absence that day.
He was subsequently arrested last month and remanded pending a bail hearing.
