Anglophone sector education action plan sets timelines to address key priorities but lacks benchmarks on how to determine if improvement efforts are successful in effecting change
The provincial Education minister and steering committee officials touted a new action plan to improve the anglophone school system Tuesday, but didn’t have answers on how they’ll know if it works.
The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development hosted a news conference Tuesday morning to outline the broad strokes of Building a better education system, a plan to implement recent recommendations to address problems that are plaguing the anglophone education system in New Brunswick.
As the Fredericton Independent reported earlier today, among the issues singled out as issues to be addressed were recruitment and retention.
But there were many other items on the department’s checklist for improvement and change.
