Sean Kenneth Antonucci, 25, formerly of Oromocto, who was arrested after police operation Thursday night, had outstanding arrest warrants on charges dating back to late last year
The man whose arrest was preceded by a police advisory for some Fredericton residents to shelter in place last week asked for his bail hearing to be delayed Monday.
Sean Kenneth Antonucci, 25, formerly of MacDonald Avenue in Oromocto, was arrested early Friday morning after members of the Fredericton Police Force conducted an operation to take him into custody Thursday night.
The force issued an advisory through social media shortly after 8:30 p.m. Thursday, telling people to shelter in place in the area of Capital Manor, between Main and Maple streets, though police reported there was no threat to public safety.
The police operation ended with Antonucci’s arrest early Friday morning, with the shelter-in-place alert being lifted shortly after 1 a.m.
