A Fredericton man accused of breaking into the city’s main library and causing thousands in damage told her court he wanted to just skip ahead to the sentencing phase of his case.
Kelly Gordon Kleim, 31, of no fixed address, appeared in Fredericton provincial court by video conference from the Saint John Regional Correctional Centre on Monday morning, scheduled to go through a bail hearing.
He was arrested last week and charged with counts of break-and-enter, theft of computer tablets and property damage stemming from a Sept. 30 incident at the Fredericton Public Library that evoked outrage throughout the community.
