Jury trial set in couple’s sex-assault case

A Lincoln couple will stand trial before a Court of King’s Bench judge and jury almost two years from now on a joint charge of sexual assault, alleged to have occurred last year.
Kevin Brawn, 24, and Haley Fraser, 20, both of Susan Drive, previously elected to be tried by judge and jury on an indictable charge of sexual assault, alleged to have been committed against a female complainant in Lincoln on Feb. 9, 2024.
A court-ordered publication ban prohibits the dissemination of information that would tend to identify the complainant.
