A Mainstream man denied charges Thursday stemming from a crash last fall in which a woman sustained serious injuries.

Zachary Sarchfield, 30, of Mainstream Road in Mainstream, near Hartland, appeared in Fredericton provincial court Thursday by telephone from the jail in Saint John, where he’s on remand.

Thursday’s proceedings were for election of mode of trial and pleas on Nov. 2 charges of of dangerous driving causing bodily harm to Christina Ballard, leaving the scene of an accident, possessing a stolen 2024 Yamaha Griz belonging to Tristen Little and breaching a judicial release order, all in Harvey on the date in question.
