Impaired driver’s car hit cruiser, court hears
Scott Nathan Maillet, 25, of Fredericton, hit with hefty fines, extended driving prohibition
A drunk driver who fled from the cops on foot failed to put his vehicle in park, so his car rolled back and hit a police cruiser, court heard last week.
Scott Nathan Maillet, 25, of Burpee Street in Fredericton, appeared in Fredericton provincial court Friday and pleaded guilty to two criminal charges.
He admitted to operating a motor vehicle within two hours of having an elevated blood-alcohol level and fleeing from police.
