As he denied a long list of criminal allegations Friday, a Fredericton man seemed far more focused on talking about a murder he claims he can solve but that police have no interest in his information.

Jeremy Robert Ingraham, 35, of no fixed address, appeared in Fredericton provincial court in person and in custody Friday, accompanied by defence counsel Edward Derrah.

At the outset of his proceeding Friday, the defendant told the court he didn’t want the lawyer to represent him, claiming defence counsel wasn’t following his instructions and that they weren’t seeing eye to eye.
