I was sexually assaulted - park complainant
Police force says no arrests have been made yet in what it described as robbery incident in Odell Park on May 14, renews call for information from public on suspect being sought
The woman who reported being assaulted and robbed in a Fredericton park a week ago says she was also sexually assaulted in the incident, though police have yet to make mention of that aspect.
The Fredericton Police Force had a significant presence at Odell Park on the city’s south side early in the afternoon of May 14, closing the park for a short time as it conducted a search.

It later reported that the response was to investigate a reported assault and robbery, and to conduct a search for a suspect.
“At approximately 12:15 p.m. [May 14], police responded to a report of an assault where the victim’s purse was stolen, and the suspect fled on foot,” the force said on social media last week.
“The victim sustained minor physical injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.”
Phoenix Craft, the complainant in the case, has been speaking out on social media as well in the wake of the incident.
