Crown prosecutor Geoffrey Hutchin said the charge arose after a dramatic impaired-driving incident on the city’s northside earlier this fall.

He said police responded to Gabe Atwin Drive after receiving a call about a motor-vehicle collision at about 10 p.m. on Sept. 12.
