Mounties found psilocybin, marijuana after Bryson Myles Arnold Maher, 20, crashed his car
After an Estey’s Bridge man crashed his car in a drunken accident on a rural road in April 2023, Mounties discovered stashes of magic mushrooms and marijuana, court heard Friday.
Bryson Myles Arnold Maher, 20, of Route 620 in Estey’s Bridge, appeared before Fredericton provincial court Judge Pierre Gionet on Friday for sentencing.
He’d previously pleaded guilty to possession of psilocybin for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a quantity of marijuana in excess of legal limits.
Maher also pleaded guilty Friday to a related charge of having an elevated blood-alcohol level within two hours of driving.
The charges all related to events in the early-morning hours of April 21, 2023, court heard.
