HotSpot Parking expands to Québec City
Fredericton-based app company adopts new Copilote+ branding for francophone market
Eagle-eyed users of the Hotspot Parking app may have noticed something different about their emailed receipts Friday, as they carried the name of Copilote+ rather than HotSpot.
But the company’s founder says it was just a glitch in the rollout of a francophone version of the app for the Québecois market.
HotSpot head Phill Curley said Friday that the company is launching a parallel version of its parking and transportation app next week in Québec City.
“This was specifically done for French language laws in Québec,” he told the Fredericton Independent.
“Our intention is to expand the program so all of Québec can use this version in their own language.”
