Andrew Derek Washburn, 32, of no fixed address, was ordered to undergo a forensic psychiatric assessment at the Restigouche Hospital Centre in Campbellton last month to determine if he was fit to stand trial, and he was back in Fredericton provincial court Monday, in person and in custody, for a fitness hearing.

It marked the latest in a series of such assessments over the past year, all of which found him fit to stand trial.
