A normally boisterous and disruptive defendant said nothing in court Wednesday, only nodding his head to acknowledge he was pleading guilty to a variety of crimes, including a threat to a judge. 

Joshua Daniel Grant Burden, 49, of no fixed address, was scheduled to stand trial in Fredericton provincial court Wednesday on several charges dating back to April and June 2023.

However, court heard Burden was opting instead to admit to most of the charges against him.
