Homeless man accused of injurious arson

Charge alleges Adrien John Christie, 43, set fire to another man’s tent near homeless shelter

A homeless man will return to court next month to answer to an allegation that he seriously injured another man by torching his tent.

Adrien John Christie, 43, of no fixed address, made his first appearance in Fredericton provincial court Monday on a count of deliberately or recklessly doing damage by fire to a tent at 63 Brunswick St. and thereby causing bodily harm to Timothy McKnight.
