Harvey man denies sexual-interference charge
45-year-old accused heading to trial on allegation of touching minor for sexual purpose
A Harvey man will stand trial late next year on an allegation of sexual abuse of a minor dating back five years.
A 45-year-old man from Harvey was charged last month with an indictable count of sexual exploitation.
That charge alleged he touched a child for a sexual purpose while he was in a position of trust or authority over that minor between June 1 and Sept. 30, 2019.
The Crown had sought a publication and broadcast ban on any information that would tend to identify the complainant, and the court ordered that ban.
