A Hampton man busted in Fredericton with a vehicle belonging to another municipality last summer admitted to the crime Thursday, as well as repeated no-shows in court.

Jean-Paul Dezainde, 36, of Acadia Crescent in Hampton, appeared in Fredericton provincial court by telephone from the Saint John Regional Correctional Centre on Thursday, scheduled for pleas on several charges.

Defence lawyer Bronwyn Mooney said her client was prepared to admit to three of the four counts before the court.
