Fredericton woman admits to fraud times four
Tiffany Lynn Martin, 34, to be sentenced in June for fleecing city residents of cash in 2024
A Fredericton woman is due back in court in June to be sentenced for defrauding several capital residents of sums of cash last year.
Tiffany Lynn Martin, 34, of Ebony Drive, appeared in Fredericton provincial court Tuesday with defence lawyer Ben Reentovich to answer to several charges.
Reentovich said his client was pleading guilty to four summary counts of fraud that were before the court.
Martin, in confirming she was pleading guilty voluntarily, admitted she defrauded four Fredericton residents - Timothy-Connor Minke, Gampa Bertrand, Alexander Hansen and Alexander Ledger - of less than $5,000 apiece between May and July 2024.
