Counsel for a Fredericton woman accused of forging cheques and fleecing another city resident over the course of two years asked Thursday for time to review the Crown file in the case.
Jennifer Archibald, 41, of Sumac Street, was scheduled to make her first appearance in Fredericton provincial court Thursday on two indictable charges.

She’s accused of using forged cheques belonging to Kenneth Ramey and of defrauding Ramey of money, all between June 11, 2021, and July 18, 2023, in Fredericton.
