Latest alert marked third time 15-year-old capital youth had disappeared in recent months
A Fredericton teenager whom police announced on the weekend as being missing has been found and is OK, the city police force reported in an update Wednesday morning.
The Fredericton Police Force issued an alert on social media Sunday evening, noting it was seeking the public’s help in locating a 15-year-old city resident.
The youth had last been seen on the capital’s North side Feb. 12, it advised.
However, in an update Wednesday morning, the Fredericton Police Force reported the girl had been found.
“She's been safely located,” it said on social media.
The Fredericton Police Force previously reported the same teenager as being missing in late December and again in mid-January, and she was located soon thereafter on each occasion.
