UPDATE: Missing Fredericton resident found - police
City police force had sought assistance from public in locating Brandon (Quinn) McLean, 26
A non-binary Fredericton resident who’d been reported as missing has been found, reports the city police force.
It issued an advisory on social media Thursday afternoon advising that Brandon Burley McLean, 26, of Fredericton, was believed to be missing.
They identify as non-binary and usually go by the name of Quinn McLean.
However, the Fredericton Police Force issued an update on social media Monday morning reporting that they’d been found.
This marked the second time in the past year that McLean had been reported missing.
The Oromocto detachment of the RCMP previously issued a similar alert last fall, reporting them as a missing person at that time. They were eventually located.
McLean is also facing some criminal charges in Fredericton provincial court, and they’re due back before a judge July 24 to answer to them.
Among those charges are a Feb. 7 count of failing to attend court, and April 26 counts of animal-cruelty, resisting arrest and obstruction of justice.
