Missing Fredericton man found safe - cops
Police advised earlier Monday there were concerns for the well-being of Chad Ford, 50
A Fredericton man who was reported as missing to city police early Tuesday was found safe within a half hour of a public alert, says Fredericton police.
The Fredericton Police Force issued an advisory Tuesday morning announcing that Chad Ford, 50, of Fredericton, had been reported as missing.
It noted the city resident had last been seen at the Regent Mall early Tuesday at 12:30 a.m., alone in his 2014 Jeep Wrangler.
“There are concerns for Chad Ford’s well-being,” the alert on social media stated.
However, about a half hour after that advisory went out, the city police force reported Ford had been located and was safe, and it thanked the public for its assistance.
