Fredericton man forgoes bail for now
Christopher Isaiah Eatmon, 31, charged with producing fentanyl, possessing it for trafficking
A Fredericton man arrested and detained two weeks ago on charges alleging he produced fentanyl and planned to traffic in it decided Thursday to put off his bail hearing for the time being.
Christopher Isaiah Eatmon, 31, of Lincoln Road, appeared in Fredericton provincial court by video from the Saint John Regional Correctional Centre on Thursday, scheduled to go through a bail hearing.
He’s been in custody since his arrest on July 29 charges of producing fentanyl, possessing it for the purpose of trafficking, possessing cocaine, possessing stolen recording equipment belonging to Benjamin Cook, possessing brass knuckles for a dangerous purpose, possessed that prohibited weapon without a licence or authorization, and violating a court-order weapons prohibition.
