Fredericton man changes pleas to guilty
Timothy Robert Dunphy, 51, to be sentenced in provincial court Sept. 5 for various crimes
A Fredericton man set to stand trial Wednesday on a varied list of criminal offences opted instead to admit to those crimes.
Timothy Robert Dunphy, 51, of Victory Street, appeared in Fredericton provincial court Wednesday in custody and in person, represented by defence lawyer Tim Murphy.
He said his client wasn’t seeking to proceed with his scheduled trials and wanted instead to enter changes of pleas to many of the counts against him.
