Fredericton man accused of axe attack
Alexander Richard Parlee, 20, admits to assault charges, threats count in provincial court
A Fredericton-area man will be sentenced early in the new year after he admitted Friday to assaulting a man and a woman with an axe in the capital in June.
Alexander Richard Parlee, 20, of no fixed address, appeared in Fredericton provincial court Friday with defence counsel Jael Duarte.
The defendant faced June 22 charges of assaulting Hana Parlee and Austin Demers-Mercier, assaulting them with a weapon (an axe) and threatening to cause them death and bodily harm.
