Two drug defendants whom police brought to court after a 24-hour deadline following their arrests will remain in custody as their cases make their way through the justice system.

Tiffany Lynn Martin, 34, of Ebony Drive; and Bradley Douglas Webb, 37, of no fixed address, were both charged Wednesday with possession of cocaine, methamphetamine and fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, alleged to have occurred Tuesday.

Martin was also accused of breaching a release order Monday, while Webb is accused of a related probation violation, as well as June 23 counts of simple possession of meth and cocaine.

The Crown objected to their releases Wednesday, and they were held pending bail hearings set for Thursday.
