Fraudster ‘fesses up to fleecing Superstore

A California man will be sentenced later this week after admitting Monday to scamming a southside grocery store last summer.
David Constantin, 22, of Sacramento, Calif., appeared in Fredericton provincial court by telephone from a provincial jail Monday to answer to two charges.
He’s accused of defrauding the Atlantic Superstore on Smythe Street of less than $5,000 in cash and stealing prepaid Mastercard packages from the same store, both on July 14.
