Fraud, cop-assault suspect is no-show in court

A Temperance Vale man who previously failed to appear in court to deal with long-standing charges alleging fraud and driving offences was a no-show again Wednesday.
Christopher Theodore Johnson, 30, of Highway 595, had been held for a bail hearing late last month on outstanding charges dating back to 2021 to 2023, but he was released on conditions recently.
He was scheduled to appear in Fredericton provincial court Wednesday to elect mode of trial and enter pleas on various charges.
