Fentanyl-trafficking suspect sprung again

A Fredericton woman who was arrested on a warrant after showing up hours late for court Wednesday has been released on conditions again.

Anne Victoria Martin-McKay, 49, of Union Street, was supposed to appear in Fredericton provincial court Wednesday morning to answer to a charge of possessing fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, possessing of morphine and possessing proceeds of crime - namely $545 Cdn in currency, all alleged to have occurred in Fredericton on Jan. 30.

When she didn’t appear when the case was called, a judge issued a warrant for her arrest.
