A Fredericton man accused of fentanyl possession for trafficking purposes asked a court to postpone his plea last week so he could seek counsel and request the Crown files against him.
Andrew Brian McCloskey, 42, of George Street, appeared in Fredericton provincial court Friday for his first appearance on a narcotics charge.
He’s accused of possessing fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking in the capital on March 12.
