Two Fredericton men denied drug-trafficking and firearms allegations Friday, and trial dates will be scheduled next month.
Philip Roy Charters, 47, and Jerrod Andrew Mansfield, 40, both of Woodstock Road, appeared in Fredericton provincial court Friday, accompanied by defence lawyers Nelson Peters and Alex Pate, respectively.
The pair is jointly charged with May 8 counts of possession of fentanyl, methamphetamines and cocaine for the purpose of trafficking; careless storage of three firearms; possession of a modified pellet gun without a licence; possession of a prohibited shotgun with readily accessible ammunition capable of being discharged; and breaches of court orders prohibiting both from possessing firearms.
