A nursing student can’t drive for the next year and has to pay down a big fine after admitting this week to driving while impaired this summer.
Taylor McDermott, 22, of Nackawic, appeared in Fredericton provincial court Monday to answer to an allegation of impaired driving.
She pleaded guilty to having an elevated blood-alcohol level within two hours of driving.
Because plea court had a full docket Monday morning, Judge Mary Jane Richards set the matter over to Tuesday for sentencing.
