A Geary man serving prison time for drug-trafficking offences committed the summer of 2021 lost his bid to overturn those convictions this week.
The New Brunswick Court of Appeal issued its decision Thursday in the case of Scott Alexander Morrison, 41, of Branch Road.
Morrison was convicted after trial in Fredericton provincial court of June 18, 2021, counts of possession of hard drugs for the purpose of trafficking, but he had filed an appeal of that result.
The case around Morrison revolved mainly around the discovery of drugs and weapons in a car police had connected to him.
