Drug suspect now faces serious fraud charge

A Fredericton woman awaiting trial on numerous charges, including an allegation of cocaine trafficking, faced new, unrelated counts Monday: indictable fraud, and theft of credit and cards.
Shelley Darlene Gosman, 37, of Doone Street, made her first appearance in Fredericton provincial court Monday morning to answer to two new indictable charges.
She’s accused of defrauding Andrew Mockler of more than $5,000 in cash, and stealing credit and debit cards belonging to him, all between April 1 and 21 in Fredericton.
