A Zealand man is headed to federal prison after admitting to drug-trafficking and stolen-property crimes, among others.

Christopher Scott Phillips, 42, of Crouse Road, appeared by video conference from jail Tuesday for a sentencing hearing on numerous indictable charges.

He’d previously pleaded guilty to possessing hydromorphone, cocaine, fentanyl, meth and Xanax for the purpose of trafficking, as well as possessing a stolen vehicle, break-in instruments, cash deemed to be the proceeds of crime, and bullets while prohibited by a court order.
