Police found hundreds of thousands’ worth of narcotics at Fredericton homes of Jason Peter Mollins, 40, and his mother as well as stolen property, including snowblowers, tractor
The prosecution and defence in a significant drug-trafficking case offered a joint submission of seven years in prison for a Fredericton man, and the judge accepted that recommendation Tuesday.
Jason Peter Mollins, 40, of Emmerson Street, appeared by video conference from the Saint John Regional Correctional Centre on Tuesday for his sentencing hearing.
He pleaded guilty to 13 offences, including possession of crystal meth, cocaine, hydromorphone and fentanyl, all for the purposes of trafficking, as well as firearms and stolen-property crimes.
Federal prosecutor Jillian Jordan said the charges arose as a result of a major Fredericton Police Force drug investigation into activity in the capital.
