A Fredericton man who admitted to drug-trafficking and firearms crimes last month was given a date for sentencing Wednesday, but his focus was on related charges against his family.

Jason Peter Mollins, 40, of Emmerson Street, pleaded guilty in late August to a long list of criminal offences stemming from simultaneous police raids and searches at his home and his mother’s residence on the city’s north side Nov. 30.

Mollins appeared in Fredericton provincial court Wednesday remotely from the Saint John Regional Correctional Centre to schedule his sentencing hearing.
