Downtown bar break-in suspect sprung
Drake Douglas Branscombe, 37, of Fredericton, released on conditions, including staying away from Front Yard Bar, after Crown changes position on his detention on several charges
A Fredericton man accused of breaking into a downtown watering hole and who was scheduled to go through a bail hearing Thursday has been released from custody on conditions.
Drake Douglas Branscombe, 37, of Union Street, was arrested earlier this week and charged with several offences alleged to have occurred earlier this summer.
He’s accused of breaking into the Front Yard Bar on King Street on June 27 and possessing methamphetamine June 28.
Branscombe also faces three counts of breaching a probation order - two stemming from allegedly failing to be of good behaviour with regard to the afore-mentioned charges, plus another for failing to report to his probation officer June 25.
