Double-homicide prosecution edges forward
Vetted Crown disclosure now available for defence counsel for Mark Richard Foster Elley
A week after a defence lawyer handling a murder case complained of the lack of Crown disclosure in the case, the prosecution said it now had hard drives full of information ready to hand over.
Mark Richard Foster Elley, 42, of Route 123 in Red Bank, near Chipman, was charged two months with two counts of first-degree murder in the Nov. 25 deaths of Robert (Robbie) Wayne Waugh, 47, and Victoria King, 23.

The case had been before the Fredericton provincial court repeatedly to schedule a preliminary inquiry, but defence lawyer Carley Parish had sought adjournments so she could first obtain and review disclosure of the Crown file.
