Double-booking delays incest trial
Robert Philip Warrington, 29, of Dartmouth, N.S., is accused of sexually abusing sister
A trial for a former Harvey resident on allegations of sexual abuse and incest that was previously delayed due to a change in defence counsel was postponed again Friday due to court scheduling.
Robert Philip Warrington, 29, of Dartmouth, N.S., but formerly of New Maryland and Harvey, was scheduled to stand trial in Fredericton provincial court Friday on charges of incest, sexual assault, sexual touching of a minor, invitation to sexual touching, voyeurism and provision of sexually explicit material to a minor.
The charges all allege offences in Harvey between Sept. 7, 2013, and Dec. 31, 2016, against the defendant’s younger sister, Jasmine Warrington, who was a minor at the time.
