A Lake George man who’s on remand and awaiting trial in two months’ time hasn’t heard from his lawyer yet, and the defence counsel was a no-show in court for the fourth time this week.

Christopher D. Price, 54, of Route 635, appeared in Fredericton provincial court by telephone from a provincial jail Thursday for a monitoring appearance.

He previously pleaded not guilty to Nov. 3 counts of dangerous driving, fleeing from police in a motor vehicle, driving while impaired by a drug and refusing a drug-evaluation demand.

Price is in custody on those charges, and his trial is scheduled for May 23.
