Detained defendant threatens to sue
Logan Bradley Fletcher, 23, of no fixed address, laments remote appearance in court by video, claims he’s being poisoned with nerve gas at Saint John Regional Correctional Centre
An unhoused man ranted during a remote court appearance Monday, claiming he’s been exposed to nerve gas, has been given tainted water to drug him and was sexually assaulted by jail guards.
Logan Bradley Fletcher, 23, of no fixed address, appeared in Fredericton provincial court Monday by video conference, scheduled to go through a bail hearing.

He faces charges of assaulting Michael Davis on May 23; uttering a threat to Jesse Dixon to cause him death and/or bodily harm, and carrying a weapon (a pipe) for a purpose dangerous to the public peace May 24; defrauding the Royal Barbershop on May 27; criminally harassing Kerri Wortman by following her and causing her to fear for her safety May 31; and assaulting a Fredericton police officer, threatening him and resisting arrest June 2.
Earlier this month, Fletcher underwent a psychiatric assessment, and it found he’s fit to stand trial.
