Defendant denies business break-in
Michael Samuel Hepperle, 34, of Fredericton, will be back in court next month to schedule trial date on burglary charge
A Fredericton man is headed to trial on a break-in charge after denying the allegation Thursday.
Michael Samuel Hepperle, 34, of no fixed address, elected Thursday to be tried in provincial court and pleaded not guilty to an indictable count of break, enter and theft.
The Fredericton Police Force charge alleges he broke into the offices of Gorham Real Estate at 25 Waggoners Lane on Dec. 2.
Court heard the trial would take at least a day, so provincial court Judge Cameron Gunn set the matter over to Aug. 17 for a case-management conference and to set a trial date.
