Court hears of Oromocto man's crime spree
Sentencing for Sean Kenneth Antonucci, 26, delayed to seek victim-impact statements
The future’s not looking too bright for Sean Kenneth Antonucci, who’s awaiting sentencing on a long list of crimes, including thefts of sunglasses worth thousands of dollars.
Antonucci, 26, formerly of MacDonald Avenue in Oromocto, appeared in Fredericton provincial court Friday, scheduled to go through a sentencing hearing on a slew of crimes committed between November 2023 and September 2024.
He had originally pleaded not guilty to a long list of charges, but he entered guilty pleas to most of them March 10.
Judge Lyne Raymond noted Friday that there hadn’t been victim-impact statements sought on several of the files, and prosecutor Jennifer Bueno asked for those to be requested and prepared for the court’s consideration.
The judge said that meant the sentencing hearing couldn’t be completed Friday, but she decided she would hear the facts on each of the cases.
