Fredericton Police Force released security stills of man wanted in 3 ongoing investigations
A man pictured in images released by the Fredericton Police Force on Friday in connection with three open police investigations in the city has been identified.
“Fredericton police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the following suspect of interest in relation to an ongoing investigation,” the force posted on social media Friday morning.
Accompanying the post were four photos of the same man, and some of the images made it clear he was inside a Kent Building Supplies store, though whether it was the northside or southside location wasn’t immediately apparent.
The police force didn’t indicate the nature of the investigations but did specify he was a suspect, not simply a person of interest, as it usually does. The release also noted the man is connected to three open police files.
In a followup posted early Sunday afternoon, the force reported the man is now known to investigators.
It thanked members of the public for its assistance in identifying the suspect.
